I love this approach, Yael.

It feels like a "hell yes!" and a sigh of relief, all at once.

I know all the "formulas" are still out there (hard to escape them), but I feel a ground swell of people who want something different and are showing up in whatever way works for them.

And I'm here for all of it!

p.s. Love Meredith Wood's website! Gorgeous!

I can't even begin to tell you the huge relief I feel now that I've said goodbye to LinkedIn. Where every post has a hook, a framework that if you know them you can't help but see it. Where for the most part and from my experience, people are leads more than people.

I know, everyone has their own experience and this may not be true for them. Regardless, I've dropped all that and just want to show up as me, write full sentences, dive into emotions and stories, and write as I write. Not as I'm "supposed" to write to grab attention, establish authority, create the "perfect" call to action, bla bla bla.

Always grateful for your lead, Kim. You're a trailblazer :) and just an overall awesome person.

Aww... Thanks, Yael. You made my morning!

It is SO hard to read things like that now - you can see them a mile away. I read them anticipating the pitch.

I'm sure LinkedIn works for many people, and I'm glad you found something that works for you. I've jumped in there now and then (and never say never), but there are so many other things I'd rather do, lol.

I love this approach. It's such a relief to opt out of the hustle culture and learn to "amplify who you already are."

It really is, isn't it Suzanne. And Substack is such a lovely platform for human engagement and writing for the love of writing. I'm really happy to be here and even happier that you've joined me.
